West Footscray Renovation & Extension

Aligned Building worked closely with our client to deliver a sustainable extension in the Inner West Melbourne suburb of West Footscray. Originally a family very tight on space, an ensuite, two new bathrooms, a new extension built on an insulated slab provided the opportunity to go ‘all electric’ and utilize solar for electric induction cooking, heat pump hot water and hydronic heating and make use of energy efficient appliances and lighting throughout.

A large deck and semi roofed pergola to the rear provides space for entertaining and the family to hang - with the very colourful, funky kitchen not far away! The building and finishes such as polished concrete and colourbond cladding are robust and long lasting to suit the dynamic family that live here.
