West Footscray extension

This West Footscray home had previously been extended, however it was poorly designed and did not provide the living space our clients desired for their home. We demolished the old extension to make way for this clean, light and functional kitchen, dining and living space.

The existing timber rafters were reclaimed and recycled to make the new timber benchtop for the kitchen - which is now gas free, saving our clients money and making the home more energy efficient. Passive solar design encourages winter sunlight into the property, while the sustainably grown cypress pine eaves will provide much needed shade and act to block the suns rays in summer.
